Andrea Reider graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English in 1985, which was the beginning of the Macintosh computer and desktop publishing revolution. A first job at a typesetting shop in Ann Arbor led to a lifelong career as a freelance book designer and typesetter for a wide variety of book publishers and authors.
